Volunteer of the Year

A NAFCU-member credit union may submit one name for nomination as Volunteer of the Year. Nominations must be limited to an individual serving the credit union on a volunteer basis, whether elected or appointed, whose achievements, dedication, and expertise represent a standard for the credit union community. Board chairs and vice chairs are also welcome to nominate themselves for this award.

Judging Criteria

Nominations will be judged based on how well they meet the selection criteria listed below. Your narrative description (required for entry) should specifically address each of these items:

  1. Leadership
     
  2. Dedication to the representation of the credit union members' interests
     
  3. Commitment to the development of professionalism, expertise, and service
     
  4. Participation in the credit union and community activities
